Solitude and Self Protection

Solitude
Since Roger’s death I have learned that the deepest meaning of solitude is not being alone but rather plumbing the depth of that great well of silence that resides within me. It is healthy to be alone and to know me as not being defined by another person. That is truly the greatest gift I give myself.

Self Protection
Protecting myself is not the act of avoiding or pushing anything away, but rather remaining open to my individual life force. Knowing what empowers me and brings me happiness I become aligned with the presence of the divine in me and living from this awareness increases my ability to self protect.
